The ambassador said in a statement on the X website, "I condemn in the strongest terms the deadly Iranian missile attacks on the Kurdistan region of Iraq, which recklessly and irresponsibly targeted civilians, as well as the drone attacks on the Erbil air base."
She added, "These recent attacks are a flagrant violation of Iraq's sovereignty. We express our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and those injured."
It is noteworthy that various areas of the Kurdistan region witnessed, yesterday evening, Monday, missile strikes with ballistic missiles and drones, claimed by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, indicating that it struck an Israeli “spy headquarters” in northern Iraq, as well as places sheltering “terrorists” linked to the Kerman explosion, According to the Revolutionary Guard, four people were killed and six others were injured in the attack.
