    The Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services confirmed, on Monday, that the Baghdad International Fair in its 47th session provided promising investment opportunities in the fields of trade, investment, housing and industry sectors.
    The Director General of the General Company, Mustafa Al-Ani, said in a statement reported by the official news agency, and seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “the forty-seventh session of the Baghdad International Fair was distinguished from previous sessions by many things, especially the size of participation, as twenty countries and more than 850 companies participated in it.” International and local.
    Al-Ani added, “This important economic forum will open a wide window for Iraq to the world, in addition to that it will contribute to translating the government’s program for economic reform, as this exhibition comes as one of its tools, and it is a distinguished event, as witnessed by visitors and guests, and the activities are still continuing amid a remarkable presence of companies.” Local, Arab and foreign.
    He continued, "We expect deals to be concluded between state institutions and companies present at the exhibition, and it could provide promising investment opportunities at the commercial, investment, residential and industrial levels, especially with the presence of international companies and the unparalleled diversity in the activities of these companies in terms of new equipment and technologies that the country needs, including For example, solid waste treatment in the German pavilion, and many other companies presented new ideas and new projects that the Iraqi market needs.”
