    Information/Baghdad..
The Palestinian representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, announced on Friday evening that an emergency meeting would be held at the level of permanent delegates, next Monday, to discuss developments in the war on the Gaza Strip.
Al-Aklouk said, “The Arab League Council at the level of permanent delegates will hold an extraordinary session, next Monday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo, headed by the Kingdom of Morocco (the current president of the Arab League Council).”
He explained that the emergency meeting was being held "at the request of the State of Palestine, and the support of a large number of Arab countries, with the aim of discussing Israeli crimes and plans against the Palestinian people."
He pointed out that "the meeting will highlight the escalation of Israeli crimes in the occupied West Bank, the systematic destruction of the infrastructure of Palestinian refugee camps, the daily raids on dozens of Palestinian cities, villages and camps, and the Israeli siege imposed on Al-Aqsa Mosque."
