[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Director-General of the National Department for Iraqi Women, in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Yusra Karim Mohsen, chaired the meeting on writing the Beijing + 30 Platform for Action report.
According to a statement by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Director-General of the Department provided a summary of the meetings held by the team. “Stressing the need to expedite the provision of the necessary data and information to write the final draft of the report at the end of February 2024 for the purpose of approval.”
She appreciated "the role of the United Nations Development Program and UN Women in supporting the team meetings."
The consultant at UN Women presented a review of the structure of the report, its main components, and the road map for writing the report.
It was recommended that each entity submit a detailed report in accordance with the guiding questions and the review that was presented, in a way that guarantees the achievements and priorities of the ministry, the mechanisms that work with it, and the challenges, in accordance with clear indicators and data, and hosting representatives.
