    The Central Bank of Iraq’s sales from the hard currency auction for the US dollar during the month of February amounted to more than 4 billion dollars.[/size]
    [size=45]Our correspondent stated that during February, during the days in which it opened its auction to buy and sell the US dollar, the Central Bank sold 4 billion, 1 million, 381 thousand and 176 dollars at a daily rate of 210 million, 599 thousand and 9 dollars.[/size]
    [size=45]Our correspondent added that sales of foreign remittances during the past month amounted to 3 billion, 585 million, 442 thousand and 837 dollars, an increase of 88%, compared to cash sales, which amounted to 415 million, 938 thousand and 330 dollars.[/size]
    [size=45]Our correspondent indicated that these sales were distributed between transfers abroad to finance foreign trade, and cash sales to banks.[/size]
    [size=45]The selling price of documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards reached 1,305 dinars per dollar, while the selling price of transfer amounts abroad and the cash selling price reached 1,310 dinars per dollar.[/size]
