Al-Aboudi: Emergency reprehensible individual behavior will not hinder confidence in the educational institution’s mission

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, confirmed that reprehensible individual behavior will not hinder confidence in the mission of the educational institution.
Al-Aboudi said in a tweet on the (X) platform, “Reprehensible individual behavior will not obstruct or undermine confidence in the educational institution’s mission and goals, but rather it will be doubly more important for assuming responsibilities and synergizing positive efforts with the aim of strengthening the system of virtuous social and academic values.”
He added, “From the first moment of the spread of the behaviorally disordered footage, we have taken all deterrent legal measures that extend to removal from public office, realizing that this type of behavior represents a dangerous act that is harmful to the public interest.”
Al-Aboudi continued, “We urge our honorable society to stand in solidarity and confront the repercussions emanating from some of the promoters of posts on social media platforms and not to expose the families of the accused and their family and professional environment to harmful collective defamation in order to achieve personal motives or fabricate specific slanders, as conveying obscenity and defaming it is no less bad than its perpetrators.”
He stressed, “We renew confidence in the University of Basra and its scholars and professors, and we affirm that you are worthy of protecting society, defending its values and issues, your ancient institution, and combating the promoters of vice and indecency in society.”
Al-Aboudi sent a message to all universities by saying: I call on the senior university administrations and their respected staffs who have taken responsibility at all times to take the initiative and formulate the required qualitative awareness and formulate a conscious cultural movement that believes in the values and traditions of society that are deeply rooted in this blessed land.
He stressed, “We in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research are continuing to protect the educational institution, establish its ambitions and programs in achieving its academic mission and scientific goals, and prosecute those who harm it under the influence of social publishing consumption.”
