In the federal financial budget, at a time when the ruling “State Administration” coalition affirmed its commitment to what was stated in the political agreement document on the basis of which the Sudanese government was formed, in resolving the outstanding problems between the two parties.
Late on Saturday evening, the coalition, which includes all political forces participating in the government - with the exception of the Sadrist movement led by Muqtada al-Sadr - held a meeting in the government palace to discuss all developments at the internal, regional and international levels.

According to a statement by the coalition, the meeting, which was held in the presence of the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, witnessed “the discussion of a number of issues and files related to the political, security and economic situation, and the government’s notable steps and procedures in improving the economic and living reality of citizens in various parts of Iraq, in light of clear stability and development.” ».
He added that the meeting discussed “the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and his accompanying delegation to the United States of America, and the files and topics that will be discussed, as the leaders of the State Administration Coalition expressed their support for the visit, stressing their confidence in what the Iraqi delegation headed by the Prime Minister will present, within the framework of “It is in the interest of Iraq and enhances security, stability and sustainable development.”
The meeting also discussed “shared files with the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and ways to address them in accordance with what was stipulated in the Constitution, and making every effort to proceed with a constructive partnership that contributes to consolidating stability and supports the interests of the Iraqi people of all sects and components, with an emphasis on commitment to the terms of the political agreement that was formed.” On the basis of the government.
Meanwhile, a statement issued by the regional presidency stated that Nechirvan Barzani stressed the importance of “coordination between Iraqi political parties, collective action, and the protection of the constitution and the federal system, and he saw the necessity of having a common understanding of managing the country and its future.”
In another aspect of the meeting, regarding relations between Erbil and Baghdad, Barzani explained that “the Kurdistan region is serious about seeking to solve problems through dialogue and on the basis of the constitution,” urging “finding a mechanism to hold periodic meetings between relevant parties on both sides.”
In parallel, Federal Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and the rest of the participants in the meeting stressed the existence of a common desire for understanding and solving problems, and for this reason they stressed the necessity and importance of continuing communication.
The joint files were discussed with the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region, the importance of implementing the “State Administration” coalition agreement to form the federal government, the conditions of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the ministerial platform and services, and the program of the Iraqi Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to Washington, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Region.
Barzani had previously met in Baghdad with Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani.
A statement from Al-Sudani’s office stated, “During the meeting, common visions were discussed in all national files and issues, and the progress of implementation of the government program, in its multiple tracks, as Al-Sudani stressed the government’s keenness to provide services and meet the aspirations of citizens in various parts of Iraq, and to achieve integration in performance between the authorities.” Federal and authorities in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

He explained that “the dialogues that took place emphasized important and basic principles that are part of the political agreement under which the government was formed, which emphasizes commitment to the constitution, the principle of partnership and balance, and liquidating all outstanding problems under the umbrella of the constitution.”
He stated that “one of the most important issues of concern to our people in the Kurdistan region is the payment of salaries to civil and security employees, the families of martyrs, and social care. In light of the recent Federal Court decision, the Federal Ministry of Finance began communicating with the Ministry of Finance in the Kurdistan Region to complete the procedures that precede the resettlement process, which requires... Until some time, and this is what the Federal Court confirmed regarding the importance of paving the way for the completion of resettlement procedures.”
Al-Sudani pointed out that, “On this basis, we took the initiative to disburse salaries in light of the official lists of employees from all the ministries and categories mentioned, and they were audited by the Financial Supervision Bureau in the Kurdistan Region and the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, and then referred to the Ministry of Finance to begin disbursing, and this is what happened in During the months of February and March, full salaries were paid.
He added: “We are keen on the continuity of the exchange work in a way that does not conflict with the decision of the Federal Court, and in a way that contributes to securing this salary, which represents the source of living for the citizen,” stressing that “Our responsibility as a federal government is to take care of the employee and the citizen, whether in the Kurdistan region or in the rest of the governorates, and this is This is done through the required cooperation and flexibility between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government.”
Regarding the rest of the files, Al-Sudani stated that they “were also subject to research and discussion regarding the resumption of oil exports, as well as the required amendments to the budget and contracts law and the comprehensive review, in accordance with what was stipulated in the tripartite budget law.”
He also noted that “these issues were discussed in an atmosphere of responsibility and great concern for the continuity of this understanding and cooperation.”
He pointed out that “all these activities and meetings are in this direction, which emphasizes understanding and joint work to serve our people everywhere.”
For his part, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, confirmed in the press conference, “reaching, in principle, good understandings with the federal government regarding the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region,” expressing his hope “to reach a solution as soon as possible in this regard.”

Abdullah said in his “blog” that “the Sudanese, before his visit to America, must settle the problems or at least go (outwardly) with such a view,” indicating that “all the understandings taking place now aim to evade the implementation of the Federal Court’s decision to settle salaries.”
He added, “If the Sudanese is counting on the Parti (referring to the Democratic Party) to obtain a second term, he will return empty-handed, and that “time will prove that.
