    Today, Friday (April 19, 2024), member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Dilshad Shaaban, attacked the New Generation Movement and its officials, stressing that the role played by the movement in the Kurdistan region is far from oppositional.
    Shaaban said in an interview with “Baghdad Today” that “the role of the leader of the movement, Shaswar Abdel Wahed, and his sister is a positional and populist role, and they are far from the corrective opposition.”
    He added, "This movement is limited to two people whose primary concern is targeting the regional government and demoting its achievements in an attempt to mislead public opinion in Kurdistan," adding, "But they are the most corrupt and have dozens of cases in their possession, whether in the courts of the region or the capital, Baghdad, and the Iraqi judiciary must take its role." In this area".
    The Kurdish politician, Latif Al-Sheikh, confirmed on Tuesday (March 5, 2024) that those who call for reform and talk about corruption in Baghdad must expose the great corruption practiced by their leader and his brothers.
    The sheikh said in an interview with “Baghdad Today” that “fraud and deception against citizens, building residential complexes without the required specifications, selling them at ridiculous prices to citizens, and laughing at investors and businessmen, all of these actions were practiced by the leader of the new generation, Shaswar Abdul Wahid, and his brothers.”
    He added, "It is strange that the New Generation Channel and their websites and social media pages do not talk about the corruption and money laundering operations they practice, and about the dozens of lawsuits filed against them."
    He pointed out that "the judiciary in Sulaymaniyah and the entire region must strike with an iron hand and not be subject to bargaining from any Iraqi or international party, especially in the issue of defending the rights of citizens and recovering their stolen money."
