    Mustafa Falih:
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan revealed the latest developments in the formation of the local government in Kirkuk, while praising the government’s role in bringing Points of view and stopping external interference in the crisis.
A member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Soran Dawi, said in an interview with Al-Zawraa: “The elections brought this result and no party can resolve this position. Therefore, now consensus has become an urgent necessity to form the government because it is impossible to form the government and no party can be marginalized.”
He pointed out that “all parties presented their perceptions and visions, and I believe that they have become very close to each other, and everyone realized the reality and necessity of the presence of the other in the equation. Neither the Kurdish party can marginalize the Turkmen and Arab parties, nor can the Arab party marginalize the Kurdish and Turkmen parties, and this delay pushed all parties to “Submit to the logic of reason and form a local administration soon.”
He pointed out that “the governorate, from 2017 until now, has been without a council and without a real governor. The existing governor was an acting governor, and the delay in forming the government did not affect much, but the parties previously were complaining about the marginalization of one party from another, and this led to aggravation of the political situation in the governorate, and the formation of the administration will remove injustice from the governorate.” All Arab, Kurdish and Turkmen parties, and it gives a true picture of the governorate that expresses all components of Iraq,” stressing, “The government must be formed, and the formation of the government is an urgent necessity in order to implement economic projects and provide services to citizens.”
He stressed that “had it not been for Baghdad, the issue would have taken another turn, as Baghdad blocked the way for external and regional interference and its positive impact in working to bring points of view closer together,” pointing out that “the Prime Minister was the one who cut off the interference of external parties in the process and intervened and embraced everyone, and the situation is moving towards... The right path that everyone hopes for.”
He expected that “within a week, perhaps there will be a solution and a real way out of this crisis.”[/size]
