Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Moin Al-Kadhimi, detailed the 2024 budget numbers and the method of distributing them to the governorates, while stating that there are 16 trillion dinars in oil revenues that will be added to the budget.
Al-Kadhimi said that the Ministers of Finance and Planning submitted a financial report on the financial allocations to the governorates, indicating: We obtained guarantees from the Prime Minister and the Ministers of Finance and Planning to complete lagging projects in the central and southern governorates.
He added that 2 trillion and 875 billion dinars of the total financial allocations in the budget will be for 15 governorates, explaining that there are 7 trillion dinars in the budget, which are retained funds for projects in the central and southern governorates.
Al-Kadhimi added that there are 16 trillion dinars in oil revenues that will be added to the budget.
