The leader of the State of Law coalition, Haider Al-Lami, confirmed today, Sunday, that the crisis of the Speaker of Parliament is still ongoing and there are no signs from the political parties in the Sunni House to emerge from it.

Al-Lami told Al-Maalouma, “The parties within the Sunni house are still coming up with solutions that are far from ending the crisis, as the parties still disagree among themselves and there are no signs of resolving the crisis.”
He added, "The position within the Sunni House has not changed since the last session that witnessed voting on the candidates proposed for the position of president."
He stated that “there are alignments that make matters worse and delay the selection of the new president of Parliament.” End 25 n
