The Ministry of Finance revealed that financial transfers to the Kurdistan Region from the beginning of the year until the end of last May amounted to 4 trillion dinars.
The ministry said in its May expenditure report that the current budget of the Kurdistan Region amounted to 4 trillion dinars, while no amount was paid to the investment budget.
The relationship between Baghdad and Erbil is witnessing major disagreements over financial management, as Erbil believes that it has the right to export oil and obtain full taxation.
