The Ministry of Finance announced the launch of the installment system for adding the “contractual service” to state employees.
According to a document issued on July 16, which was reviewed by Baghdad Today, “Based on the provisions of Article (27) Fourth of the Federal General Budget Law for the years (2023-2024-2025), which stipulated (the contract service and wages are calculated as service for the purposes of (bonus and promotion) when confirming on the permanent staff. As for calculating them for all purposes, including retirement, they are calculated after paying retirement deductions in installments or in one payment in favor of the State Employees Retirement Fund before or during referral to retirement, with the aforementioned text of the daily wage service added to previous years).”
She added, "The Ministry of Finance announces, through the State Employees Retirement Fund in the National Retirement Authority, the launch of the system for the installment of the contractual service addition, which will be part of the system for registering employees and collecting retirement deductions. This system can be accessed through the link ( https://regst.pension.gov.iq ) ."
She added, "The mechanism for distributing pension contributions for permanent contractors will be within the employee registration and pension contributions protection system," indicating that "the amounts will be paid in equal monthly installments, amounting to a quarter of the job salary, over a period not exceeding five years."
