Zubaidi noted that the Commission is keen to refer those investment projects on a solid and competent to tourism companies, to be able to set up infrastructure and tourism to provide better services to citizens in Baghdad and the provinces, pointing out that themarshes will include such important projects in order to revive
tourism.
It is worth mentioning , the World Heritage Committee of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), have voted in the 17 of the month of July for the inclusion of the marshes of Iraq in the World Heritage list, after the great efforts made by the government in all its ministries concerned, and information campaigns adopted by the Iraqi media network.
