Jaafari in India to promote investment portfolio

Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari arrived in the Indian capital New Delhi on Monday at the invitation of his Serbian counterpart to visit Iraq, while congratulating three of his Arab counterparts on the occasion of the liberation of Mosul. "It is hoped that al-Jaafari will meet with a number of officials in the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and India, opening up wider fields of mutual cooperation, benefiting from the experiences of Indian companies, promoting investment and contributing to the reconstruction of the structures," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
