The formation of a special Directorate of the optical network

The Ministry of Communications intends to form a new Directorate for the project of optical network to manage the project when activating its services. Spokesman for the Ministry Hazem Mohammad Ali said in a special statement to "Sabah": His ministry intends to establish an independent directorate project of optical network in the country, the importance of the national project of the Internet.
He stressed that the telecommunications sector will see a significant shift in the services provided by the ministry to the citizens by the end of this year, which requires the formation of a Directorate specialized in the work of this project, noting that the Directorate will be managed by engineering and technical staff of the ministry, pointing out that the Department of Planning and Follow-up in the ministry will do so through Holding intensive meetings of specialists to prepare a comprehensive study in this regard.
