    Shafaq News / The Information Office of the Prime Minister Haider Abadi said on Tuesday that the latter met the Kurdistan political delegation, which was presented to Baghdad.

    The press office said in a statement that the meeting "witnessed the appreciation of the joint efforts between the federal government and the region in the battle to liberate Mosul and the importance of completing the liberation of all Iraqi territory from the gangs of terrorist."

    The statement added that "the meeting witnessed a frank and in-depth dialogue on the need to activate mechanisms to resolve the outstanding problems and a positive atmosphere."

    The statement added that "it was agreed to continue constructive and serious dialogue to achieve the common interests of the Iraqi people and remove the accumulated historical concerns and concerns in order to preserve the unity of Iraq."

    The statement did not address the referendum scheduled for September 25 in Kurdistan.

    The delegation was assigned to negotiate with Baghdad by the Supreme Committee for the referendum in the Kurdistan Region arrived in the evening to the Iraqi capital.

    The meeting of the Supreme Council for Referendum in the Kurdistan Region ended with Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi in Baghdad.

    The delegation discussed with Abadi the subject of holding the referendum without giving any details.

    It is scheduled to include the program of the Kurdish delegation visit senior Shiite clerics, including the Supreme Shiite cleric Ali al-Sistani, and is scheduled to participate in the delegation of the Iraqi Council of Representatives scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, and meet representatives of foreign missions.
