The US administration has issued a new decree on immigration to tighten restrictions on citizens of some countries, adding new countries to the list of those banned from entering the country, while Sudan has been removed from the list.

The decree included restrictions on travel to America for citizens of eight countries - Chad, North Korea and Venezuela - as well as Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen.

Under the US decree, restrictions on Sudanese entry into the United States have been lifted, a US official was quoted as saying by Reuters. As well as the suspension of entry of Iranians except the visa and study visits.

This decree, in its previous version, impeded or restricted the entry of nationals of Sudan, Iran, Libya, Syria, Somalia and Yemen into the United States.

The new restrictions, which come into force on January 18, are based on a review after a court challenged Trump's original travel ban.
