[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BAGHDAD - Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Thursday issued a number of decisions for Salahuddin province.
A statement by the governor's office said that Abadi "today received the governor of Salahuddin Ahmed Abdullah al-Jubouri, where the governor gave a detailed explanation of the reality of service and security in the province and the suffering of the sons of Salahuddin lack of services and infrastructure, especially the areas that have been liberated recently."
"The Prime Minister's approval to return the dismissed police from the people of Salahuddin province, who have a sound security position, and approved the establishment of a floating bridge in the area of the opening, which links the northern provinces with Salah al-Din."
He added that "the approval was also obtained to calculate the martyrs of the police who were killed by the organization calling the terrorist during the period of entry to the province, and agree to continue the salaries of police, whose fate is unknown so far as ordered by the Prime Minister so until their fate."
The governor also announced the approval of the Prime Minister to spend the financial allocations to the protection team of the shrine of Mr. Mohammed peace be upon him in Balad district as well as increased support for the province to provide basic services to citizens, especially the liberated areas destroyed.
For his part, Governor Salahuddin thanked the Prime Minister for his support for the province of Salahuddin, which was damaged by the entry of gangs, calling the criminal, "At the same time this interest, and the governor of the province will work and do everything possible to return normal life to it."
