[ltr]French President Emmanuel Macaron said on Thursday that the Iraqi government would announce the "full liberation" of the country from a hasty organization by the middle of this month.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Even if major efforts continue to advance the country, disarm and mine, the country will be restored before the end of the year," McCron told a joint press conference with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani in Doha and his Mawazine News.[/ltr]
[ltr]"We hope that in the coming months we will see a military victory in the Iraqi-Syrian region," he said, adding that "peace must be built in Syria to avoid splitting the country or dominating regional powers."[/ltr]
[ltr]Macron visited the US base at 30 kilometers southwest of Doha, where he was briefed by the US military on information about combating extremist Islamic organizations. The president met with the French forces stationed at the base, some about 30 members.[/ltr]
