[ltr]The First Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Hamam Hamoudi, on Thursday promised to reveal the names of deputies and entities that would block the elections, while warning that postponement of the elections would enter the country in a constitutional vacuum.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Hamoudi called for the people to take a responsible position that preserves the legitimacy of the democratic process by voting for the elections on schedule," a statement from his office said.[/ltr]
[ltr]Hamoudi stressed that "any postponement of the elections will enter the country a constitutional vacuum is lost all that has been achieved," stressing that "manipulation of the timing of the Constitution is a betrayal of the people and the right to swear by the people's deputies."[/ltr]
[ltr]He pledged to "disclose the names of deputies and entities that will block the holding of elections."[/ltr]
[ltr]The parliament was due to vote during its meeting today to determine the date of the elections[/ltr]
