The Minister of Youth and Sports Abdul Hussein Abtan and his accompanying delegation concluded their three-day visit to Qatar and returned to the capital Baghdad.
A statement issued by the ministry said that Abtan and his accompanying delegation left Hamad bin Khalifa airport in the Qatari capital of Doha after a three-day visit during which he signed a protocol of cooperation in the fields of youth, sports and sports media.
Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanim Al-Ali and the head of the Qatar Football Federation, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, were in farewell.
Abtan expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and farewell by the Qatari brothers and hospitality.
The Minister of Youth thanked all the efforts exerted during the visit by the President of the Iraqi Football Federation Abdelkhalik Masoud and the President of the Federation of Athletics Faisal students and stars of Iraq, former countries Hussein Said, Adnan Dergal and Fatah Nasif and Majal Fritous, Hassan Kamal and Yunis Mahmoud and charge d'affaires in the Iraqi Embassy in Qatar Abdul Sattar Al-Janabi and Embassy staff, and Halim Salman, Director of Iraqi Sports and members of the ministerial delegation for their efforts in Sail to make the success of the visit, which was characterized by success thanks to those dedicated efforts as well as the support and cooperation of officials in Qatar.
