    [ltr]US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan said the United States would not repeat the mistake of an early withdrawal from Iraq.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He added in an interview with a limited number of media the danger of "dashing" is still standing despite his military defeat.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Sullivan, who visited Iraq and Afghanistan last week, said Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced on Dec. 1 the elimination of the so-called "caliphate" in Iraq, "but that does not mean that the (da'ash) is not a problem. Fallujah is a constant problem, and we can not ignore it. We can not repeat the mistakes we made in the past when we underestimated and the American forces were completely withdrawn from Iraq. "[/ltr]
    [ltr]"Foreign Minister Rex Tilerson will participate in this conference, which was the subject of our discussions with Iraqi officials, and we encourage US companies to come to boost investment and develop a business relationship between Iraq and the United States," Sullivan said.     [ltr]Sullivan said in a meeting with a small group of foreign journalists that he had held fruitful meetings with Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi and a number of Iraqi businessmen to discuss trade relations and discuss economic development with Iraq, as well as arrangements for holding an investment conference in Kuwait by the end of this month. Met in Erbil with the Prime Minister in the Kurdistan region, Najirvan Barzani, and Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, and discussed with them how to make progress in talks between the government of the province and the central government in Baghdad.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Sullivan, the second-in-command of the US State Department, headed the US delegation to the fifth meeting of the US-Iraqi High Coordination Committee established under the Strategic Framework Agreement signed in December 2008.[/ltr]
