    [ltr]At least 15 German women are being held in prisons in the Kurdish regions of northern Syria for joining the Da'ash organization, according to a report in the German newspaper Die Welt on Saturday.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The anti-terrorism expert at Human Rights Watch, Nadim Houri, visited the female inmates of Da'ash in January 2018 and spoke with them.[/ltr]
    [ltr]According to the expert's report, 800 women belonging to the organization are being held with their children in four different camps. They come from 40 countries, including Canada, France, Britain, Turkey and Australia.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"These women are in a very difficult situation and the situation is not very good for children in particular," said Nadim Houry. "These women want to go home even if they are threatened with criminal consequences.[/ltr]
    [ltr]An expert at Human Rights Watch asked European governments to bring in their children, saying children had not committed crimes and were victims of war.[/ltr]
