Parliamentary demands of the government to launch an economic war on Turkey

MP on the coalition of state law Zeinab al-Khazraji, on Sunday, the Iraqi government to use the economic file paper pressure on the Turkish side in order to increase Iraq's water share. "
Al-Khazraji said in a press statement obtained by "Economy News" that Iraq is exposed to a water war by the upstream countries, which led to drought of the rivers and the deterioration of the agricultural sector because of the lack of water for watering farmers.
She explained that the volume of economic exchange between Iraq and Turkey is very large, so the Iraqi government to put pressure on the Turkish side to increase the share of water made by Turkey
"The provinces of the south suffer greatly from the lack of water and the deterioration of the agricultural sector, especially in the province of Dhi Qar, so the government to intervene quickly and pressure on the Turkish side through the economic file to increase Iraq's water quota before the country is a disaster due to lack of water in all Iraqi provinces.
