The National Retirement Authority said today, Saturday, during a press release that the pension is determined by law, and there is no truth to what has been circulated recently on the cancellation.
The Commission denied what was discussed in some social networking sites about the abolition of pensions and end of service bonuses, stressing that this is not true, calling for non-circulation.
"One of the bad people promoted this and attributed it to the government in order to incite public opinion against the government for political reasons," the pension authority said. "The aim is to waste the victory of the Iraqis led by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi."
The statement added that "preparations are underway for the payment of the end of service bonus (the sixth meal) according to the sequence and seniority, and the rest of the meals will be disbursed upon approval of the budget and the proceeds of financial financing."
