    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri on Wednesday called on the government to shoulder its responsibilities towards Iraqi women, pointing to the provision of solid institutions that have the real assets and sympathy for them.
    "The mother industry is the industry of man and thus the industry of society," Al-Jubouri said in a statement received by Iraq News Agency during a celebration on the occasion of Mother's Day held by the Aswan High School for Girls on the occasion of Mother's Day, which was attended by a group of people and dignitaries of the Amiriya district in Baghdad. , The source of the strength of the family and its immunity. If the father is a bond and a source of struggle and abandonment of the child, the mother is the maker of their self, which determines the path and the way they are useful to themselves and their country.

    Jabouri called for "valuing the status of mothers through actions, especially those who have been displaced, and many of them are still suffering from their horrors," pointing out that "healing their wounds as soon as possible, and not only to return to their homes and build what was destroyed and reassure their families."
     
    The speaker stressed that "the state should take responsibility for our mothers who have been cut off and are no longer a sponsor but the state, through the provision of solid institutions that have the assets and the real sympathy and competent staff faithful."
