    According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), 82 projects will be supported through 53 humanitarian and national partners to implement priority activities under the humanitarian response plan.

    US $ 5.1 million will be allocated to health projects to reach 1.6 million people, which is critical, especially as health partners urgently need US $ 54 million under the 2018 Humanitarian Response Plan Health services in conflict-affected areas and accessible areas.

    The Humanitarian Response Plan for Iraq is funded at only 54 per cent, and the sectors still in need of support are food insecurity, gender-based violence and health.
