Justice: Six years in prison for the former director of real estate registration in Maysan

BAGHDAD - The Inspector General of the Ministry of Justice Karim al-Ghazi said on Tuesday that the Maysan criminal court sentenced in absentia the former director of real estate registration in Maysan for six years.
Al-Ghazi said in a statement that the court decided to imprison the fugitive convicted under the provisions of article 340 of the Iraqi Penal Code. The ruling included issuing an arrest warrant and investigating the right to the affected parties to review the civil courts to claim compensation.
The Inspector General noted that " the Court upheld the seizure of funds movable and immovable property of the convict , who served as director of real estate registration in Maysan. Finished 1
