    Information / Baghdad ..
MP Badr al-Zayadi said on Monday that his alliance would go ahead with the Fatah alliance to legislate a law to remove US and foreign troops from Iraq, despite the pressure exerted by Washington. He pointed out that the visit of parliament speaker Mohamed Halboussi to Washington did not come from a vacuum.
"The visit of Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbusi to Washington did not come out of a vacuum," Zeadi said in a statement to Al-Mawlama. "This visit came to put pressure on Halabousi to prevent legislation of the law to remove foreign forces."
"Al-Fathi and others will pass legislation next week despite the American pressure," Zeadi, a member of the parliamentary security and defense committee, said that "Fatah and others will not bow to American pressure as some have been satisfied."
Al-Halbusi said in an interview with the Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq al-Awsat on Sunday that the survival of US forces in Iraq is "a guarantee for Iraq," pointing out that the proposals issued by some parliamentary blocs to submit a draft law calling for the withdrawal of US troops was finally withdrawn from circulation.
Halabousi's office returned hours after the dialogue to deny the statements, accusing the newspaper of distorting what he said. Ending / 25 h
