The Deputy Hoshyar Abdullah Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, issuing an urgent decision to pay the benefits of farmers in the Kurdistan region and take into account the humanitarian aspect in dealing with an important issue for thousands of families of ordinary peasants in the region.
He said in a statement today, "Thousands of families of the peasants of the region are eagerly waiting to pay their dues by the federal government after it was delayed for several years, and this delay in disbursement means that these families are overwhelmed by the accumulated debt because they contemplate one day to get their dues and repay debts, The cost of living and the expenses of their children and daughters in schools and universities, knowing that this is their right of the federal government and not a grant distributed to them.
Abdullah said that there are financial allocations in the Ministry of Commerce to pay their dues. The Minister said that there are funds allocated to pay the dues of the farmers of Iraq in general and the region in particular. There are two formal addresses to the Prime Minister's Office by the Ministry of Commerce on this subject.
