President of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi discussed on Monday the increase of Iraqi natural gas production capacity during his meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban.
"The meeting discussed the need to develop and improve the oil sector and increase Iraq's natural gas production capacity because of its great economic importance to the state," Halaboussi's office said in a statement.
He added that "it was stressed the operation of manpower from Iraqi cadres in the oil sectors and training, and increase the ports of oil exports to Iraq."
