(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The head of the parliamentary bloc of the national axis, Ahmed Abdullah Abdul-Jubouri stressed the adherence of his bloc to correct the course of action of the House of Representatives.
Jubouri said in a statement that "the previous phase has witnessed a significant delay in the performance of the Council in its legislative and supervisory aspects, which caused great disappointment among the Iraqi public."
He added that the public "awaits a supervisory and legislative role of the House of Representatives commensurate with the critical stage experienced by the country in general and the political process as a whole in particular."
