The parliamentary education committee announced on Sunday that there is a study in the committee that is working on merging the two ministries of education in one ministry, pointing out that there are fears of blocking the quota for this step to get positions.
"The committee has an expanded study proposal to merge the ministries of education in one ministry to supervise its outputs from junior high to universities," said Riad Mohammed, a member of the committee.
"The study is being worked on to turn it into a bill to be passed later," he said, adding that "the reason for moving towards the merger of the two ministries to prevent the two ministries from running opposite each other."
He explained that "there are fears that the law is not passed because of quotas and conflict on positions."
