, The Integrity Commission revealed, on Monday, the issuance of a court ruling in the presence of the former director general of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, for intentionally committing what violates his job duties, which led to damage to public funds.
In her statement on the ruling, the Investigation Department indicated, in a statement received by / Mawazine News / a copy of it, that the debtor entered into a contract with one of the investment companies to manage and operate a joint multi-activity sidewalks, in addition to establishing a complex for food industries in Umm Qasr Al Shamali port, where The contract was concluded despite the gross injustice of the rights and interests of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, and it contains many violations of the defendant's job duties, stating that "the convict entered into the contract with the intent to benefit another person at the expense of the state."
The department added, “The Court of Misdemeanors of Integrity Cases in Basra Governorate has reached full conviction of the exclusivity of the convict after reviewing the evidence obtained in the case represented in the report of the Financial Supervision Bureau and the recommendations of the Ministerial Investigative Committee composed in the Ministry of Transport, and a book issued by the Minister of Transport Office to the General Secretariat of the Council Ministers. "
She explained, "The court issued a court ruling in the right of imprisonment for the convict in the case that the body investigated and referred to the judiciary, and the decision was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article (331) of the Penal Code No. (111 of 1969) amended."
