Khashan: Al-Halbousi conducts "Sindbadia" trips, and Parliament must hold him accountable for its nature

Independent MP Bassem Khashan said on Wednesday that Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi is conducting Sindbadia trips, in addition to those who go with him either for walks or for recreation, stressing the need for Parliament to hold Al-Halbousi accounted for the nature of his travels and their purpose.
Khashan said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "Al-Halbousi from the beginning was violating his role by interfering in procedural and executive matters related to the government, in addition to carrying out travel trips that cost the state huge sums."
He added, "Parliament must hold Al-Halbousi accountable for the sums he spent on things outside his job jurisdiction that did not achieve any results."
And that "the delegations that leave with Al-Halbousi represented by deputies and other personalities, they do not have a specific job in these visits, as their going with him is for recreation and hiking." 25 n ended
