Zarif: There is no point in negotiating with Washington

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that his country will not negotiate with the United States of America because of the futility of these negotiations.
Zarif stressed that there are no dialogues with Washington because the Americans have proven that it is not possible to rely on the results of any discussions with them even if they were conducted, indicating that negotiations with the American side were conditional on Washington changing its policy and lifting sanctions on Iran.
With regard to paying compensation to Britain for the damages incurred by its embassy in Tehran in the year two thousand and twelve, Zarif said that there are rules in international law that separate these matters, and that Iran has announced that the protection of foreign embassies on its soil is under the custody of the government, adding that all officials in the country are in agreement On this point.
