    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

Deputy Kazem Finjan Al-Hamami demanded, on Saturday, the liberation of the Iraqi fishing vessel (Al-Batoul), which was seized by influential Iranians on the island, and took it to an unknown location.

Al-Hamami said in a statement that the ship left Iraq on 7/19/2014, and arrived at Kish Island on 7/22/2014 for the purpose of maintenance and repair under the supervision of the Iranian engineer (Rusta), and it was ready to return to Iraq after four weeks, and its captain paid the full financial dues. And he obtained permission to leave from the official Iranian authorities.

Erythema added; The Iranian engineer (Rosta), along with a group of Iranians, threatened its Iraqi crew to leave the island and (expelled them), and informed them to seize the ship.

Al-Hamami added that the ship (Al-Batoul) is not present on the island, and that it has been subjected to piracy.

Erythema was cited; The official documents confirming the ownership of the Iraqi ship, its registration certificates in the Iraqi restrictions, and he also cited the official documents issued from Kish Island, confirming that he will open the (neighboring countries) department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Coast Guard Authority, and the Fishermen Association in the city of Al-Faw, and he will supply the Iraqi authorities With all the documents and documents proving the Iraqi ownership rights for this ship, which has been subjected to piracy since 2014 and its fate is still unknown until now.

Al-Hamami concluded his statement by saying: The absence of the Iraqi Maritime Authority from our maritime surfaces will cause severe damage to the Iraqi ships specialized in fishing, which are exposed from time to time to piracy, confiscation and detention by coastal patrols of neighboring countries, and sometimes by influential people in those countries.
