[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Interior Minister Othman Al-Ghanmi discussed with the Italian ambassador in Baghdad, Bruno Antonio Pascino, strengthening cooperation between the two sides and training and logistical support for federal police forces.
A statement of his office said: "Al-Ghanimi received the Italian ambassador and discussed with him a number of issues of common interest, foremost of which is the continuous coordination and cooperation between Iraq and Italy in a way that serves the common interests between the two countries."
They also discussed strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior and the Italian side, especially with regard to the provision of support by the Italian National Gendarmerie (Carabinieri) to train and support the federal police forces and logistically ./End 9[/rtl]
