    {Baghdad: Al-Furat News} The Parliamentary Education Committee held a meeting headed by Qusay Mohsen Al-Yasiri, head of the committee, in the presence of its members today, Saturday 3/6/2021, to discuss the articles on its agenda.
    The meeting discussed, according to the committee’s statement, Al Furat News received a copy of it, the subject of suspending school hours and mid-year examinations for students.
    The committee stressed "the necessity of concerting and mobilizing the efforts and capabilities available to reduce the risks of the spread of the epidemic and encircle the losses resulting from it, especially that the educational sector is at the forefront of sectors that have been directly affected by the spread of this epidemic."
     While the National Safety Health Committee called for "the necessity to allow the Ministry of Education to conduct the mid-year exam, as it is a fundamental pillar for assessing the level of pupils and students."
