Oil Minister for the Berlin Climate Conference: We are working to increase the production of clean energy to 10 kW

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Minister of Oil affirmed Iraq's commitment to the standards and determinants of protecting the local and global environment, and working on developing and increasing the production of clean energy.
This came during his virtual participation in the Berlin Climate Conference via the electronic platform, the minister said, "The government's and ministry plans aim to gradually move to the use of clean fuels, including gas, solar energy, wind and others by increasing work space, production and investment in these important sectors."
The Minister of Oil referred to work to reduce the percentage of the use of hydrocarbon fuels and fuels, in order to preserve the local environment, stressing that the government's plans aim to reach the production of (10 kW) from solar energy production projects, in addition to stopping the burning of gas associated with oil operations thanks to recent contracts with companies Global sober for gas investment in the governorates of Basra, Maysan and Dhi Qar.
He continued, "We hope to reach agreements and contracts with international companies to invest free gas in the governorates of Anbar and Diyala during the next few years, noting that the ministry is working to strengthen the relationship with energy organizations, centers and institutes in the world, and to work to provide a safe environment for the work of international companies and increase investment opportunities." ".
