The Ministry of Finance reveals budget errors and opens up the Presidency of the Republic

The ministry indicated that "the presidency of the republic will be approached for the purpose of correction."
Last Sunday, the Ministry of Justice announced the issuance of the new issue of Al-Waqi’a Iraqi newspaper number (4625), which included the Federal Budget Law of the Republic of Iraq, which was approved by the Presidency of the Republic.
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives approved, on March 31, the 2021 budget, with total expenditures amounting to 129 trillion dinars (about 88 billion dollars), while it recorded a deficit of 28 trillion (about 19 billion dollars).
Estimated revenues from exporting crude oil were also calculated on the basis of an average price of $ 45 a barrel, and an export rate of 3.250 million barrels per day.
The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, approved the budget law on April 8.
