    On Friday, the Federal Service Council denied reports that it had received vacant job ranks from ministries.
    "The news that was circulated in news agencies and social media regarding some ministries sending their vacant job grades to the service council for the purpose of declaring them as employment opportunities are incorrect," said the spokesman for the council, Wissam Al-Lahibi, in a statement seen by Al-Iqtisad News.
    He added, "In connection with that, I would like to clarify the following:
    1- Article 12 of the Federal Budget Law for the year 2021 clarified the legislative position of the employment file in all the paragraphs it included, represented in the suspension of appointments in the state, and it also deleted all job grades resulting from the movement of owners in all ministries and government departments, and stopped employment in a timely manner. Contracts in all state institutions.
    2- Most of the ministries and agencies not associated with a ministry have not yet completed their procedures for the approval of the Ministry of Finance of their staff.
    He emphasized that "the council is committed to implementing the provisions of the law in everything related to employment, and therefore any job grade if it meets the conditions stipulated in the budget law will not be filled until after it is announced in accordance with legal controls, and selection will not be made from among applicants for its occupancy except according to objective criteria Approved by the Council. "
    In turn, he called "not to publish information related to the employment file except after referring to the service council before publishing it," indicating that "the council is not responsible for any statement issued by others regarding the employment file and does not bear any responsibility or legal consequences for these statements."
    He stressed "what was included in the council's statements and previous publications regarding the need to be accurate in publishing news on the employment file."
