    {Political: Al Furat News} A member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Abbas Sarout, revealed that the Presidency of the House of Representatives has, in principle, set the thirteenth of this month as the date for hosting the security leaders.

    According to Sarout's request for the presidency of the Council, the agency {Euphrates News} obtained a copy of it, "The Speaker of Parliament (Muhammad al-Halbousi) agreed to host the security leaders in the constitutional hall in the parliament building."
    Sarout's request was summed up in hosting "for a general assessment of the security situation, preparation for the upcoming parliamentary elections, protection of state institutions from burning and the creation of abuses, revealing the killers of activists, media professionals and citizens, and addressing assassinations, murderers and kidnappings, and the Turkish incursion into northern Iraq and its repercussions."
