The Strategic Center for Human Rights in Iraq revealed, on Friday, that there are 4 million biometric cards with the Commission that have not been received by voters.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the center's director, Hazem Al-Rudaini, said that "there are 4 million biometric cards with the commission that have not been received by the voters."
Al-Rudaini called on all voters who updated their biometric data to "review the registration centers, because there are more than four million cards with the commission that have not been received, and there are only 65 days left for the elections."
He called on all partners of the electoral process, including government institutions, media, parties, candidates and civil society organizations, to "contribute to awareness campaigns for voters to receive their biometric cards, because they are the only passport to polling stations."
Al-Rudaini added, "The number of biometric speakers has reached nearly 17 million voters, about 13 million of whom have received their cards." Ended 29/A43
