[size=45]On Wednesday afternoon, Engineer Nazanin Muhammad Wassou, Minister of Construction and Housing, visited the headquarters of the fifth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Baghdad and was received by Mr. Shawan Muhammad Taha, the official of the branch and the working body.[/size]
[size=45]During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and the ongoing preparations to run for the parliamentary elections that will take place next Sunday.[/size]
[size=45]In another aspect of the meeting, Mr. Shawan Muhammad Taha spoke about the activities of the branch during the last weeks in leading the electoral campaign for the party’s candidates in Baghdad and Wasit, stressing that the propaganda campaign was better than the previous sessions in terms of organization and the willingness of the party’s masses and Kurdish citizens in Baghdad to cooperate in order to make the campaign a success.[/size]
[size=45]For her part, the Minister praised the efforts made by the branch in leading the propaganda campaign, declaring, as a leader in the party, its support for the Kurdish candidates, asking Baghdadi voters, especially the Kurds in Baghdad, to actively participate in the elections and vote for the party’s candidates.[/size]
