Iraq continues its attempts to solve the electricity crisis and meet the growing domestic need by relying on foreign expertise, as Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and the new German ambassador to Iraq Martin Jeig discussed, on Sunday, bilateral cooperation in the security, economic, and investment fields, especially in the field of electric energy and alternative energy. .
A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office stated that "the bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, and joint cooperation between Baghdad and Berlin in various fields was discussed, and ways to develop it to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples."
He added that "the meeting also witnessed a review of bilateral cooperation in the security, economic, and investment fields, especially in the field of electric energy and alternative energy."
