It would not be an exaggeration to say that this goal and the serious striving to achieve it, has won and enjoys the approval and support of the majority of the Iraqi people with all their affiliations, which expressed this in various expressions, especially during the October 2019 uprising with its goals and slogans calling for change and radical reform in the general situation in the country.
Mr. Muqtada's assertion and insistence on forming a government of the national majority or going to the opposition means expressing strongly the pulse and will of the majority of Iraqis who see this call as providing a real possibility to put Iraq on the path of real change and reform. Obstacles and objections to them will constitute the only historical national option to get Iraq and its people out of the bottleneck and suffocation put in by the helpless and failed political class, most of which are accused of corruption and harming the interests of the Iraqi people and Iraq at the same time.
Of course, the conclusion and emphasis on the national and historical importance of the choice of the national majority government is embodied in the following: First: Ending the era of forming governments, since 2006, on the basis of sectarian and ethnic quotas, according to which the process of quotas turned to looting public money and to achieve partisan, factional and personal interests, which led to The destruction and devastation of Iraq and the impoverishment of its people.
Second: Availability of the great and important possibility for the situation of Iraq and its people - as a first step on the path of required change and reform, achieving the interests of the people and building state institutions on national and modern foundations, in a manner that helps in providing the real foundations for a true democratic system.
As for the protests and frantic efforts that took place and are taking place to obstruct or hollow out the content of the national majority government with (national partnership, comprehensive national partnership) and so on, they were not limited to groups and blocs that lost in the elections, but also most of those who were raising slogans against the quota governments and calling For (trans) sectarian, racist and youth governments, but now they believe that their interests will be harmed if the national majority government is formed.

It is best to say that insisting on forming such a government, and not backing down, no matter how negative efforts against it are, is really the only historical national option at this stage.
