    Information / Baghdad ..
Legal expert Ali Al-Tamimi confirmed, on Saturday, that the House of Representatives does not have the right to issue a travel ban decision for officials, indicating that this matter is within the jurisdiction of the judiciary.
Al-Tamimi said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "issuing travel bans for officials and citizens is within the jurisdiction of the judiciary, and it is not possible for any party, including Parliament, to issue such decisions."
He added, "The House of Representatives can approach the investigation court or the court of first instance with a request to issue a travel ban decision for the minister or any official on suspicion of corruption, provided that it is accompanied by evidence."
The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, announced today, Saturday, that a travel ban letter will be issued against the Minister of Finance, blaming the Ministry of Interior and the Intelligence Service for his travel. Ended / 25 AD
