, Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein confirmed, on Saturday, that the new government will be formed within a short period.
Hussein said in a speech during the Antalya Diplomatic Conference, "Iraq was dominated by dictatorship for nearly 40 years, and we started working little by little. Five months ago, elections were held, and now the conversation with political parties continues."
He added, "Iraq is not the only democratic country that is facing difficulty with government, and I said, We quote the Belgian or Dutch model because the Belgians tried to form a government, and remained without a government for a year and a half."
He stressed, "The current government is doing its best to form the new government, and this will be done within a short period." Ended 29 / h
